Our client is a start-up saas company who came to being in London a few years ago. The company helps to see and understand data and make unbiased business decisions. Over the years they have now built a fully remote and international team. They have now expanded into the USA market and need a VP of Sales with a strong sales record to build new relationships and maintain existing ones. 

As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for the company’s revenue generation, new customer acquisition strategy, current account expansion, and overall sales. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, Train, and Develop a team of sales professionals

  • Set KPIs for the Sales team and achieve numbers 

  • Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation of strategic sales plans.

  • Manage efforts to research and identify customer prospects and targets.

  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.

  • Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations.

  • Outlining and managing sales budgets.

  • Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.

  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.

  • Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.

  • Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.

  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.

 

Requirements:

  • A highly motivated consultative sales leader with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales and management

  • Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market.

  • 5+ years of SaaS/information technology sales leadership and individual success in a sales role

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, coaching, planning, and organizational skills

  • Highly motivated and self-disciplined

  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.

 

Desired Qualifications:  

 

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales leadership position.

  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a senior (C-level) leadership role may be advantageous.

  • BSc/MSc degree in a business-related field.
